I saw this article this morning on exercise myths which I thought was good. Here are the myths (summarized):
- No pain; no gain.
- Stretching reduces risk of injury.
- The best time to work out is in the morning.
- If you’re not going to work out hard, don’t bother.
- Exercising the same each day is the best way to build up a muscle.
- Running is the best way to get in shape.
- Heavy weights create big muscles and small weights create lean muscles.
